Michael DeRubeis has been an electrician since July of 1978, 40 years in the electrical field. He has worked in residential homes installing recessed lighting, romex wire, and innovative technology to New England homes.

He has managed multi-million dollar electrical projects including hospitals, assisted living residences, the Tobin Bridge, and condominium developments.

Starting M. DeRubeis Electric in 1998, Michael has completed projects such as:

  • Villa Michelangelo nursing home in the Boston Northend
  • 9-story 33-unit condominium building at 183 Mass Ave
  • St. Mary's elderly home in Waltham, MA
  • 10-story condominium building in Quincy Marina Bay
  • Multiple nursing homes in Jamaica Plains

Some of our recent residential work... includes landscape lighting, interior lighting and design, as well as electrical service.

Recently, M. DeRubeis Electric has been focusing on the custom home market. We have completed six custom homes ranging from 5,000 sq.ft. to 20,000 sq.ft. Each home has had the most advanced lighting systems available. Each light, heating unit, tv, shade, and other home options are all controlled by a central computer system. While completing these complex projects, M. DeRubeis has also constantly performed service work for the greated Boston metro area residents.
